Microsoft has been using an array of cameras and it sensors to achieve secure facial recognition in any lighting condition. Does the S8 use this or does the facial recognition have the traditional limitations of lower security and usability only in lighted areas?

So far it seems like it doesn't provide a high level of security, though I'm sure that it will improve with upcoming updates. I'd stick with the finger reader for now.

The S8 has both face scan (which reportedly can be tricked by a still picture) and iris scan (which is as secure as a fingerprint). The advantage of the face scan is speed, since you have to line up your eyes but the face scan is almost instantaneous.
