    Figures, I have tomorrow off and work all day Friday, it would be very convenient to pick it up tomorrow, ugg, this s5 gives me anxiety..
    I feel your pain. Not only do I know when they get here, but I work all day on launch day. So I get to see everyone else's joy when picking up bright and early. Yes, I am now pouting haha

    I am in the same boat order number begins with 3 and nothing shows up under guest. I ordered in store if that matters.
    Since I got the discount coupon BB clearly has my correct e-mail. I am only mildly worried. I have so far resisted going into the store to verify which I suspect takes one less crazed person from bugging the BB staff.

    I would also like to add my thanks to the BB folks who are brave enough and willing to post their thoughts and observations. Thank you

    No. Anyone that preordered in the store has a 33 order number. Everyone else has a BBY01- order number. There won't be any order status emails or updates on the website because the in store preorders technically haven't been paid for yet

    You will receive the email when the order is ready to be picked up though.

    Oops... I think I did it... I just refreshed the BestBuy Order page and get a "We're Sorry
    Order information is currently unavailable." error. Anyone else getting that? Or just my account reaching daily refresh limit?

    I don't know I am a Verizon user, I don't believe they ever took a credit card from me. I also got a message that my phone number linked to my rewards account had been changed. I tried old (landline) and new which I presume is cell phone but no luck. Not going to stress too much (right) for the moment after all it is only a phone (cue the pitch forks and torches and angry mob for such blasphemy) so if it comes later my current phone still works and life is good if this is my biggest problem

    One would think they need to process all of the in store pickup orders and have them ready for each customer. Any phone I've upgraded to at Best Buy is just waiting for me with what they called a "soft" activation and you as the customer have to complete the process with your carrier.

    So my card finally got charged about 20 minutes ago! I get the order status unavailable message like others here, but at least I got charged. Hoping to receive tomorrow or Friday.

    Or that's just what the rep tells you to get you off his/her back. If you were to goto an order page to do a pre-order, the in-store pickup date is still 4/21 but ship date is now 4/26. It is falling farther and farther behind. :-o

    Best Buy made an official post on their forum about the S8 today

    Hello everyone,

    I wanted to provide some clarification to everyone regarding the concerns of shipping times and product availability.

    -Along with the other carriers we began shipping pre-orders yesterday (4/18). You should be receiving a confirmation email with tracking information within the next 48 hours. We anticipate pre-orders should arrive upon release day on 4/21.

    -Currently there is no early release date for the Galaxy S8/S8+ and in store pre-orders will be available to pick up on 4/21. Please refrain from going to your local store until 4/21 and you have received an email confirmation that your phone is ready for pick up.

    -Customers may have received an email notifying them of a later arrival date than release day. I apologize if the estimated date of arrival listed in your My Best Buy account is 4/25, but I can assure you this date is not correct. We fully anticipate our pre-orders for these phones be provided to our customers on launch day 4/21/2017.

    If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
