    this is bull**** I ordered and I saw when I was charged which I think was a pre authorization charge. Now I don't see that hold anymore and I am still stuck in processing Registration for "immersive Gear VR experience for " - How did it Go-samsung.jpg

    Don't sign into your Samsung account, just put in your order # and zip code.

    There are still quite a few of us still stuck at the same point you are....trying to be patient!

    I called the e-commerce number yesterday and got no information. I chatted this morning online this morning and was told orders can take 3-5 weeks to ship due to a background check on the customer. I was told it includes where phone was bought, who I have service through, where I live, and my payment method...

    I called the e-commerce number yesterday and got no information. I chatted this morning online this morning and was told orders can take 3-5 weeks to ship due to a background check on the customer. I was told it includes where phone was bought, who I have service through, where I live, and my payment method...
    Promo shipments don't have anything to do with who you have service with. They don't need to do background check because that in itself makes no sense. I spoke to ecommerce yesterday afternoon and she said no such thing and they are the ones that process the orders. Online chat is technical support not consumer support. They can see your order but not like ecommerce. Ecommerce told me that the warehouse has my order waiting to be fulfilled and they said the order (According to the Terms of sale) should have been shipped already. She said there must be a reason it hasn't shipped such as waiting for sufficient supply. I've spoken with ecommerce 2 times and each time they've given me more info and even sent an escalated email directly to the warehouse to determine why my order hasn't been fulfilled and shipped.

    Thanks for the info, e-commerce only told me my order was accepted. I guess I'll just keep waiting and hope for a change in my status.

    What option are you selecting? If youre going past the first selection then you're going too far. When you call just select option 2 for ecommerce.

    Me too. Hope yours ships soon too. Elite1×87 has been waiting for his too. I haven't seen him post in a few days but I know he's been on this forum since around the beginning.. waiting.. patiently. He should give ecommerce a call to find out about his order too.

    At least we're only a few now. Do give them a call, so that they contact the warehouse. just be prepared to wait for like 2h. I also paid via paypal, posted the 21st.

    I haven't checked in a few hours. I don't believe I have because FedEx Delivery manager hasn't notified me of anything. I got tired of checking. I doubt anything will happen during the weekend.

    I've been looking at this thread, first post.

    Pre-ordered via Bestbuy, delivered on 4/20 at 11am. Used the Samsung website to register the S8 at 11:01 am (lol) via computer, used the Samsung phone app to claim the $99 VR bundle at 11:02 am. Received an email at 1:30 pm from Samsung saying they could not read my receipt, to resubmit, used the provided link to resubmit via computer at 1:31 pm. Got an email st 1:45 pm saying it was under review and a link should be sent to pay within 2 weeks.

    Next day 4/21 buy link arrives via email around 1pm. Used the app to pay right away. Pay with PayPal, get instant email confirmation with Order number. App and website show Order details, Processing......

    I signed up for FedEx delivery manager, as recommended here.

    4/29 12:10 pm FedEx email with shipping info, arriving Tuesday 5 lb shipment.

    4/29 1:20 pm Samsung shipping confirmation email.

    hi everyone,

    I received my s8+ on April 19th and registered immediately. I received a link to buy the $99 bundle on April 21st. I paid on the 23rd and haven't had any shipping notification yet. My card was charged immediately after I paid. I guess, as it is an authorization, the charge disappeared after a few days.

    1) the order status says "confirmed" (a look up by order number on samsung customer service website)
    2) order status on promo site says "approved" and currently is in processing gift (https://promos.samsungpromotions.com/info/checkstatus)
    3) status on shop samsung app says "confirmed" and under review.

    I called e-commerce a few times last week and the most positive response I got was that the order is pending fulfillment. They also gave me a ticket number. I have been following this thread for the past few days. I guess and hope I'm not alone in this state as of now. . Really looking forward to the fully immersive bundle.
