S8 - Nova Launcher stops while trying to import TouchWiz desktop

Got my new S8 today. Trying to switch over to Nova Launcher and would like to import the TouchWiz desktop instead of doing it all manually.

When I go to 'Import desktop layout from other Launcher', a message pops up warning me this will clear my Nova layout. That's fine since I have no Nova layout.

Click OK and then get the error "Nova Launcher has stopped".

This happens every time at this point; even after rebooting the phone and uninstalling and re-installing the app.

Any suggestions?

I think it has bugs with the new UI of samsung in galaxy S8 so I guess nova devs will push an update fixing this bug.

That is frustrating... I have been using Nova for years now but must say I'm really enjoying stock right now. Still, I hope it gets fixed by the time I switch.

Try signing up for the Nova beta. They may have already addressed the issue.
