AT&T Galaxy S8 Is there a way to sync Facebook contacts with S8 Plus?

New to Android--former Windows Phone 10 user;

Windows Phone 10 synced my Facebook contacts with my phone contacts-- is there a way to do this with Galaxy S8?

Facebook stopped doing that on Android a long time ago. Well at least the way they used to so you could have contact photos. There is a contact upload feature in the Facebook app, but I've never used it.

You could try the 'sync me' app. That will sync your contacts to their facebook profile pics and if you no longer want to use the app but keep the pics just uninstall it.

The best cheat on this in my opinion is to use Linkedin.

The problem with that is those that you want to sync must approve Sync.Me through Facebook. Not very practical.
It's probably with noting, these new restrictions are because Facebook changed the API. It's not anything done by Android (or Sync.Me).
