It installs apps on your phone that Verizon feels you can't live without. It's a way to get more bloatware added to your phone.

Yes. This is the first thing I will do once I get my phone. Now if only someone can find out how to enable the Bixby vision shopping feature and also device maintenance that Verizon disabled ...

FWIW: I uninstalled all the pre-loaded games and VZ Navigator. I have nothing against gaming - I like it actually - I just don't do it on my phone, and I'd rather decide which games I install and when.
