    Trying to get people to forget exploding phones with some razzle dazzle marketing for a new device and then they pull this?

    This isn't going to end well if it isn't resolved quickly. Oh, and good luck getting people to download updates in the future.
    Most people don't download updates as it is lol.

    I have the DQA error msg pop up.
    I'm NOT on wifi.
    I did the Verizon update this morning.
    I force closed the app...but it still gives me the pop up error 10 min later.
    Seriously Verizon...

    Looks like the only sure fix for now is to disable via package disabler.

    Updated last night as well. Did cache wipe no errors and face recognition works as it has out of the box.

    I held my nose, crossed my fingers, and burned some incense and did the update (VZW) yesterday. I got the error message. Cleared cache, turned phone off and on. I've received it again once today. Not super annoying but the updates in general are upsetting because it seems like every one that comes along makes my battery life worse and creates new problems. BUT, I am digging this phone, not gonna lie.

    I cleared the data on the WiFi direct app and haven't seen it pop up yet. I'll report back tomorrow and let you all know if it has popped back up or not by then.

    I installed the update yesterday (4-21) and Bixby does not work when I push the Bixby button. It did work before the update.

    I got the update early yesterday morning, and I haven't had the DQA error at all; some people were saying it was because of a certain app installed on the phone, but if that's true, I guess it means I don't have the said app.

    I know a lot of us got the update shortly after getting the phone, so it may not be easy to compare the battery life before and after the update, but what would you guys say? Did your battery life get better or worse after this update? As for me, I don't think it made a difference on my S8+.

    It is a system app... I have package disabler already owned and I disabled the system app and have not have an issue since. I will turn the app back on sheet the next update to see if it is fixed.

    I'm having 5ghz problems where it stops and switches to 2.4 (smart connect is off). I wonder if this is related to the DQA thing? I dont get those errors, however.
