Do people actually care? How many people use cases? When are you looking at your phone and care if it says Verizon on the back? This is just something that has perpetuated online.

I doubt the general public does care, but I do.

Good job Samsung, now if you can only stand up more for your products and stop carriers (mostly Verizon) messing up with the firmware and disabling/removing features then it'll be great. This is one thing I like you to copy from Apple, the way they treat carriers.

Well, some of us remember when we had the Note 2, and it had a big old cheesy Verizon logo right on the home button on the front of the device.

I was glad to see that AT&T didn't brand their GS8.

+1 on this. As much as I love them, I'm glad T-Mobile isn't isn't plastered on the back, and Samsung is not on the front, which I normally called wasted space.

It doesn't bother me. Verizon logo on the back or not I'd have a case on it so either way I'd never see it.

I never got the branding issue.. branding is everywhere you look.

Yeah. I never understood it either. I think it got started when Apple didn't allow carrier branding on its devices.
