Free VR receipt not accepted BS

I preordered though Best Buy. The day I picked up my phone on the 21st, I filled out the rebate deal online with Samsung. I got a kickback a day later or so that my receipt was not acceptable I used the cash register receipt. So, I found another receipt provided by Best Buy the day I picked it up, and now they're telling me I don't qualify because "Your purchase did not occur within the offer purchase period." What? How do I get this corrected? Are they wanting the receipt they gave me when I did the pre-order?

It was only for pre-orders. Had to be purchased between 3/30 and 4/20. Anything bought the day they were released or later is not eligible.

Okay, thought you bought it that day. Seems odd. I bought two phones and both were accepted. Bought mine from AT&T. Sorry.
