This is a weird one.
Everything we own connects to the JBL Xtreme without an issue.
Blackberries, Asus Tablets, old Ipod Touches and the wife's Samsung S7.
But my new S8+ just does not recognize it.

I pair it like everything else but it just does not come up on my screen to connect.
So I happened to be a Bell store (picking up an amazing Gear4 clear case) and I was talking to them about it and they happened to have a JBL Xtreme in the store.
They attempted with the store S8 and S8+ and it did the same as mine.
Then she attempted with her personal S7 and it connected easily.
I tried a couple other working demos and they all connected quickly and easily.

Any thoughts on this one?
I need my shower music! LOL.

Has anyone else discovered this problem? I just tried another JBL unit and it did the same thing. This is really inconvenient.

What error messages do you get on your S8+? Is Dual Audio enabled? If so, try turning that off. Also, check the firmware on the JBL Xtreme. It may need an update.

Have you checked to see if your jbl had a firmware update? how about contacting jbl customer support and asking if they an internal memo discussing if it is fixable?

BTW I tested my S8 out on my jbl flip 3 just now and it worked fine.
