Im curious about this as well. While searching here and online I'm finding guesses and conflicting info. Does anyone have any concrete info concerning Verizon & At&T Bands for the S8?

I know in the past one was locked into the carriers because of GSM/CDMA bands..is this still true for LTE 2017 phones?

I did find this over at phone scoop but not sure if all the bands are in all the phones. The seller did install a T-mobile SIM and LTE, texting and phone calls all worked. Only problem now is having the Verizon crap on the phone with no way to remove it.

Samsung made only one version of the S8 and S8+ for the US. The S8+ model # is SM-G955U. Note the "U". There is no Verizon, ATT, Sprint TMobile or other US carrier model. So any unlocked S8 or S8+ will work on any US Carrier.

Not sure how it works but from what I read earlier, if you change carriers you can load that carrier's software by doing a factory reset with that carrier SIM

I have the same question, I have a SM-G955U on Verizon and want to unlock it and use it on a GSM network.

Does SM-G955U work with GSM networks?
