Non-curved glass screen protector?

Has anyone found a non-curved glass screen protector that doesn't cover the curved sides? I used them on my S7 Edge because I got tired of the tacky/rubbery feel of the wet application kind.

I figure some coverage is better than none.

I agree with you. I think the fact that companies keep attempting to cover the curves is where they are going wrong. Most people will use a case with this phone, and the case will hug the curves.

I tried one, the center of the screen is still curved slightly and the protector had a huge portion on each side not touching the screen.

I've used those types too on my s7 edge but didn't like the feel of the screen protector ridge when I was using the edges of the phone.

That said that was the only one that stayed put !

I'm now using an official Samsung Screen Protector on my s8 and although it's not glass the actual feel is near as damn it.
