I have only seen one review where they remove it, seems normal in it's removal but for $45, I am not going to test it till the time is needed.

The feel of this glass just is great though, I tried Zagg's at first and it was terrible, felt like plastic , looked cloudy, was earliest and showed the glue ring around the glass and had numerous dead spots where I lost touch.

This however is everything the Zagg is not

Still amazing , if you can find it, this is a go.
Reply:There is a video on YouTube from a good source that removed the screen protector with no problem, there was just a little glue left on the sides

I ended up returning mine. The adhesive started giving way and forming bubbles when the phone got hot. In my case it was from being outside but Ive been following a thread on XDA where the heat from charging has caused some to start to bubble.

Look like it's gonna lift up eventually.. 3.5 / 5 stars rating on Amazon... also $45 is extremely overpriced... but I would see that most people are desperate for protection.

The problem with the reviews is alot of the issues came from people who screwed up the install.

Overall its a great idea but I dont think they factored in the problems with heat and glue. At this point Ive come to terms with the fact that screen protection isnt going to happen for me. I'll rely on my insurance and if it gets scratched bad enough to bother me then I'll use it naked until something bad enough to warrant a claim happens.

I was doing some reading on a YouTube review and someone said it looks like LOCA glue. You can get it for like 15 bucks with a UV light and use it with any screen protector for the same effect.

Does it work well with OtterBox defender?

I'm thinking either the Whitestone or bodyguardz. Might even try something else and use the LOCA glue.

I would certainly NOT use LOCA glue. That stuff is not meant to be taken off. Just watch a YouTube video on replacing glass only on S8 etc. So if anyone knows if the Whitestone comes with LOCAL for sure I would like to know before I buy it.

Here's my Whitestone Dome glass installed on my S8+ in a Tech21 case.
    Still working fine that combo?
