Phone settings for new contact

Greetings,

Anyone know how to designate a default account to use and save for contacts??

I use my Google account for all things contacts and every time I want to add a new contact the phone insists on selecting to save it on its internal storage, for which I have to manually change it to google.com.

If i make a mistake and save to phone, there is no easy way (I could find) to change it to another account.

Any help much appreciated.

Go to Contacts app, click the 3 dots at the top right, Manage Contacts, Default Storage Location.
