If you want the update today just uncheck auto date and time, set date to tomorrow. Install update, change date back to today and set updating of date and time back to auto. Very simple, just did it. Or, you can just wait.

How do ypu clear cache?

Turn phone off.
Hold power, volume up, and bixby at the same time until Android guy comes on. Let all buttons go. It will say installing update and then it will say, no command, then a menu will come up. Use volume button to go down to clear cache. Hit power button to select then go to yes and click power Button again. It will clear cache then. Go to reboot and hit power button. Phone will reboot as normal.

Got the update just now. Seems to have the May security patch. Very nice. Hope Samsung and ATT can keep this up in the coming months

Bought a galaxy s8 plus directly from samsung att variant, it's connected to cricket, do I still get the update, or need to be ATT network?

The optimization step got hung up about half way through, rebooted the phone and it finished inside of 15 seconds -- no idea what all that was about. Two days w/o it freezing up at night -- woot woot!

I feel like I need one of those "workplace counters that say - X Days without an accident" haha

Never had the problems other than occasional spotty Bluetooth connection and intermittent facial recognition unlock. Both were/are rare.

So far so good! First time in months it hasn't unmounted 150+ in 24 hours! So far 0 unmounts since the update!

I noticed that with this update I don't get constantly annoyed with the the SD Encryption message in my task bar!
