How do I get my phone to stop asking if I'm at a particular restaurant?

Everytime I go to a restaurant, I receive a notification from Google asking if I'm at a certain restaurant and then to check our reviews and whatever other bs. I've searched all through my Google settings but can't figure it out

I think it should be location history under connections > location

I just got one after doing what I said to do so I went and done what m3lover1 said to do and hopefully that does the trick

You're right however then in this case it disables ALL Maps notifications. I don't like that because when using navigation and moving away from the app, I don't have the navigation ready to go in my drop down tray.

Go to Google Maps app and go to settings and then notifications. Turn them off.

I actually turned everything off under Contributions but keep getting the stupid notifications.
