Does the 60fps video recording mode turn off Dual Pixel Auto Focus?

I've seen a couple of Youtube video in which people are showing the GS8 having great focus when they are recording video in 30fps, but as soon as they start recording at 60fps, the camera is extremely slow to focus. From what I can see in those videos, it look like the phone turns off the Dual Pixel Auto Focus when it's switched to 60fps. That's the only conclusion I can come up with, but it doesn't make any sense of why it would do that.

Does that happen to anyone here? Do you see a difference in the focus when recording video in 30fps vs 60fps?
