Why won't my S8+ wirelessly charge standing up?

I have the S8+ in the Defender Series Case and Samsung's 2017 Fast Charge Convertible. It will charge through the case while laying flat but while standing up.

I have the S8+ in the Defender Series Case and Samsung's 2017 Fast Charge Convertible. It will charge through the case while laying flat but while standing up.

Typically it's the placement and the power of the charging coils with your case being an OtterBox with multiple layers it's hindering the power from the coils getting to your wireless sensor.
The ONLY charger I have found to date that will allow me to charge wireless in Portrait with the Otterbox Defender is the Itian's

BUT it has to be PERFECTLY lined up, I mean, to the MM
