I'm on AT&T. I have June security but not the dot to hide navigation bar. Got June security update few weeks back.

Maybe I'm weird but I've disabled the option to hide it. The last thing I want to do is add an extra step to hit those buttons.

For anyone wanting the black navigation bar back you can use an app called NavBar Apps from the play store. You can set the background to any color you want.

I get the reason Samsung removed it but I dont need Samsung to protect me from a problem that has affected maybe .0001% of users. That white bar is horrendous to look at and since I dont keep my screen brightness up very high or on for long periods, I'll take my chances.

Does anyone know whether the adb command to show the nav bar for specific apps still works? I want to hide nav bar for all apps besides one.

To each his own. It takes some getting used to, but I enjoy the full screen experience, especially on the S8+.
