Samsung Galaxy S8 - Model Numbers?

I am looking to upgrade to the S8 and have seen that the European wide version is the G950F.

I have seen numerous models of G950FD which I understand is an Asian, dual SIM, model and wanted to ask if there is any reason not to buy that for use in UK?

Any help appreciated.

Only the Samsung engineers working on the two could tell you, but I wouldn't, because the wrong upgrade will possibly not allow you to connect to your carrier. Just wait until your carrier releases the update for your model phone - then you'll be notified, on the phone, to accept the update or not. (Normally if you say "no" about 10 times, it updates anyway.)
