Weird issue, that is:

I've had my S8+ for just over a week now. The phone paired with my car for music streaming and phone calls just fine. I have an app. that allows creation of a ring tone using my music, and I am using the native Samsung music app. Now when I stream my music via Bluetooth to play in the car, it defaults to those selections I use for my ringtones, even when I previously went to specific selections. WTF? This never happened with any of my other Samsung phones.

Any ideas?

What app are you streaming the music from
I use amazon music with no issues at all. It could be an issue with the app.

It sounds like a default has been set. So when you open your music it is playing via the ringtone app. OR the ring tone folder has been included into this play list or has replaced it entirely. Just a guess in hopes of pointing you into the right direction.

SOLVED: The Ringtone app., I think, was selected as the default for Bluetooth streaming cause when I deleted the app., the problem went away.

Both of you are on the right track, thanks!
