Yes and I completely agree with you too. The one horrible thing that Google screwed up with the first generation pixel phones was that they weren't waterproof they weren't even water resistant if you spilled a little bit of water on it you're screwed up the entire following immensely for a $650 phone that's unacceptable. I love the fact that the essay does ip68 water and dustproof. I mean I'm not saying we're going to go diving with the fish anytime soon but if it falls into a pool what if they get stuck in the rain or hits a snow like a skiing or snowboarding it's nice to know that the phone's not going to die! Would that being said yeah I have a package disabler application from Samsung from the Play Store and official application to disable any bloatware that I wanted or didn't want and I finally convinced myself to disable TouchWiz Launcher and put Nova Launcher Prime on my phone along with the Google Now launcher pixel Google Now cards. Now, as far as do I still like Samsung Galaxy applications depends on which application it is. At first I was so married to the Samsung messaging application that I wouldn't think twice about switching apps but sure enough there are other apps that are even more customizable and have crossed syncing functionality for free such as they Verizon messaging Plus application it's the only application Verizon is created that is actually worth using. Other than that like I said, the only other Samsung Galaxy app that I'm currently using is a phone dialer app and that's pretty much it. No as far as the UI on my phone like I said I love the pixel stock native Android look and feel. I love being able to access my Google Now info cards at a moment's notice and I love having quick and convenient access to a Google search whenever the heck I need it! And as you can tell I still have the the 3D touch shortcuts when I need them. Now, will the pixel 2 XL be awesome? I'm sure but I doubt it will be bezel-less. Abdul 3D stereo speakers and pray to God Google makes it ip68 waterproof because the phone is going to be near $900. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Nova Launcher is the right answer for everyone. You have to be pretty technical to set up Nova Launcher and it's very customizable. And I still agree that TouchWiz Launcher is great on the S8 compared to older Samsung Galaxy phones.
