Looking for an app for battery efficiency?

Looking for an app to tell me whats running in my back round and how much the app is draining my s8. what do you recommend?

I'd recommend you use the tools that are already included with the S8. I used GSAM on my S7e and it is a good app, but after awhile I saw no need on my S8+.

Battery apps are terrible on batteries

Indeed. You have yet another app running constantly (using battery) to tell you what's using your battery... The native app iv the S8 is great, I make all apps go to sleep as soon as I stop using them and I get good battery life out of mine...

Juice Defender used to be all the rate in battery maintenance and would analyze which apps were running in the background killing battery efficiency.

Tap on always sleeping apps on the bottom...

I am a little confused the always sleeping apps don't get updated so i have to update them manually?

When you use an app it wakes it up so it will refresh what needs refreshing.
I don't allow any autó updates for any app.

This is the first phone that I've had that monitors itself very well. I don't even touch anything on this screen. It gives me a notification when it puts apps to sleep. I no longer need or use greenify or anything similar.
