    My boyfriend and I both have S8s. Since the new update went out all the pic he sends me are messed up. It acts like they're not downloading at all, I can't even try to save them to the phone. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the calling plus thing, since he uses hos and I don't. I'm starting to get really frustrated. I've included a picture so you can see.

    What messaging app are you both using? Also, what carrier? It looks like the messaging app he is using is compressing the images too much.

    we both use the standard messages app, we both have sprint.

    My wife and mine does the same thing. The first image comes in and says failed, then comes in a second time and shows the image correctly. It's weird. We're on tmobile and it's been like this for a while now.

    I have same issue on Tmo. Tech support had me clear cache in the stock messenger app and it seems better, I think

    I know that it doesn't seems as "natural" as just take a picture and share it, but I ALWAYS use Link Sharing when trying to share a picture or a video. Besides the benefit of been able to share it with Full Resolution as it allows up to 1GB files, to me, it's as easy as just share it directly. It just uploads the file to Samsung's server and creates a link for you to share, once the receiver gets the message he/she just click the link and it shows you the picture/video and allow you to download it.
