    I have a verizon galaxy s8 that I am using with an AT&T sim. Everything works on the device, even data, sms and mms. But when I try to make a call it says "No SIM, or SIM error." I don't know how.

    UPDATE: I solved the issue by changing the band from CDMA to GSM. Now everything works!

    Funny that you're getting that error and can still use text. Go to Settings, Apps, and find your phone app. Do a force stop, clear cache and clear data. Reboot and see if that helps. If not, then contact AT&T and discuss new SIM with them.

    Hi I solved it, I just had to change the mobile network bands to GSM
