I got an update this morning on Rogers in Toronto. Still Sep. 1st security - I suspect this is the Bluborne fix. AQI3 build level.

I got an update this morning, too. My phone did a factory data reset just after the update. Not happy. This is the second time it's done this.

Sounds odd. None of my phones running Android have ever done that before on their own. Including this one. I don't even know of a setting that you might have to toggle to prevent this.

A factory reset after an update? That is odd. I've never had that happen on any Android phone I've had. Ugh. That sucks.

Wow, a factory reset after an update, never had such a thing happen to me and this update was no different. Did the update and all seems normal.

Yeah, I'd get that looked at. Does not sound right. Don't want that to happen every month. I'd lose my mind resetting everything.

It's the same update that Bell put out a couple days ago, and yes, it's just the BlueBorne fix. From reading carrier XML files it seems Telus and unlocked Canadian devices are getting 1AQI3 too.

Yep. There was mention of "other Google fixes" but no one seems to know what those were. Thinking was maybe some Sept. security fixes but that was just guessing.

Still waiting on AT&T to release this Sept update, now that it's the last day of Sept, and no sign of it yet for my S8.

Got an update this morning - AQI7. Security patch still shows Aug. 1st, 2017 though.

That one's only on Rogers for now, but I used Odin to put it on my Telus S8+. Same security patch, Blueborne is still fixed. No idea what's different.
