New Update

I rebooted my unlocked S8+ yesterday and when the phone restarted, it said there was software update. I tapped on it and it warned about data usage and went to the software update screen. After checking, it said the phone was up to date. This happened about a month ago as well.

Still on August 1.

Exactly the same thing happened on my unlocked S8 about 4 hours ago. Weird.

You're not the only one. It seems the unlocked variants are getting updates slower, which is odd. I have the Verizon branded S8+ and so far I've been getting regular updates from Verizon. Verizon pushed out the Oct update this past weekend, just before Halloween.
