Transfering from Google Drive to Samsung Voice Recorder

I have switched from an iPhone to a Galaxy s8 and I stored all my class lectures on Google drive. I downloaded a voice recording app, Samsung Voice Recorder, and I would like to transfer my lectures from Google drive to the Voice Recorder app. I tried connecting my phone to my Mac and transferring the files to the corresponding folder however they did not appear on my phone.
These lectures were all recorded using the iPhones voice recorder app.

The problem would be the format. What format is the iPhone saving its recordings in? It could be proprietary that Samsung can't read it.

Perhaps change the iPhone format to the Samsung format.
