When I'm using Google Maps navigation, I typically turn the screen off to conserve battery power and just listen to the audio instructions.
But I'm having the problem that the GPS signal cuts out about 1 minute after screen off. I am using the batter saver (mid), but I have enabled the allow background app data usage option from the customization section, so I thought it should work fine.
When I turn the battery saver off, I don't have the problem, but I'd like to keep the battery saver on, and not have to turn it off to use navigation.
What am I missing?
I could swear I've had the battery saver enabled (with allow background data usage on), and not had the problem, but now it seems to not work. Any ideas what else to check?
