Settings app is gone after update? phone apps all crash

Just got a prompt to update my phone, did the update and now the settings app is gone completely, i get constant prompts that every app has failed , what happened and how do i fix it? i dont even know what version on software is on my phone now becuse there is no way to get into settings? just got the update today nov 26 2017, its a galaxy s8 +

Try wiping the cache partition and see if that helps. No data loss should occur. This is a safe and easy thing to try.

This is for a Tmobile S8 but I have an unlocked S8 and the procedure is the same. Good luck.

Sounds suspicious. Boot into safe mode.

If you can't then do a factory refresh.
