App Notifications Sounds

Anyone know how to set sounds for each individual app instead if the default? I've never had this issue previously before on other phones....

Usually that function resides within the individual app itself. On my S8 I set the notifications for Textra in Textra, Nine in Nine and GMail in Gmail.

Or go into apps>select the app you want to change for example Email. Apps>Email>Notifications>New emails>Sound.

This is on an unlocked S8. Carrier version *might* be different.

Locked or unlocked, doesn't matter.

All notifications are app - based. If the app doesn't give you sound options, then you're stuck with the default. Some let you change it and some don't.

I'm not sure if this due to being on the Oreo beta or not but the path I provided (go into apps>select the app you want to change for example Email. Apps>Email>Notifications>New emails>Sound.) allows you to modify notification sounds on a per app basis.
