I had that problem. I wiped the cache partition, and that still didn't fix it. I then discovered that the update was setting the auto brightness too high. I had to manually lower the screen brightness a few times, even though the auto brightness was on, and then it stayed at a lower setting. My good battery life was restored!Updated in TX. I hope this security update doesn't hit my battery like the last one did. I don't know what happened, but I didn't have any issues before then.
