Just replaced my poor dead S4 with an S8 (tears in background). Initially with the S8, I was able to click on email sender, click on "add to VIPs" and then the sender would appear in the VIP mailbox as well as the general inbox.
However, after setting up about 20 email addresses in VIPs, the phone no longer sets any more of them. When I removed the VIP setting from one of the emails, I was then able to set a different email as a VIP. My S4 had no limit on these "Priority Senders". Thanks for your help.
