Folders not synching with Google Photos

Hi everyone, please can someone help me with Google Photos on my S8? I've gone into settings on Google Photos and enabled the back up and synch of all my Gallery photos but only a few synced. Any ideas what I need to do?

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Google Photos app, swipe in from the left, and tap Device Folders. Make sure all folders that you want to sync are set to sync -- you can tell by looking at the cloud icon associated with each folder.
