Rogers Galaxy S8 Is this new?

I just put my sim card in my Galaxy S8, while my Keyone is charging and the phone rang and a message popped up saying this was a potential fraudulent call and had been reported as extortion. WOW Has anyone heard of this before?

I've gotten the fraudulent notification but nothing about extortion. How were you notified about extortion?

Ever since the Oreo update, I have seen calls that display "Debt Collector" and "Suspected Spam".

So, yeah, it's new. Prior to Oreo, all it displayed was just the number or "Unknown Caller".

On the pop up, it said possible fraudulent call, then type is extortion. Pretty cool as it was a CRA scam call saying that the police were on the way ??????
