Can't belive it, was putting phone in to car phone holder, next thing I know screen cracked just were bixby button is, gutted. Looks like £219 to get repaired.
Curbed screens are weakest right at the curve. If the annealing isn't perfect (and that would make the screens cost more than the whole phone), the glass cools with weak spots. Eventually one of them gets stressed (and it can be the smallest of stresses) and it breaks. That's one of the two reasons I'd never buy a phone with a curved screen. (The other is getting a screen protector to fit fully and properly without spending $50 for what's otherwise a $5 screen protector.)
