It says I have 480 apps on my phone ,but on my app store it says I only have 83 , y cant I find the other 400

Welcome to the forums. Chances are those other apps are the various system apps. For example, your phone dialer is an app. There's lots of apps that act similar to driver programs in Windows. Only user apps will show in Google Play, not the system/OEM apps.

Welcome to Android Central! What app store are you referring to? Remember, Samsung phones often have apps installed from both the Play Store and the Galaxy Apps store (and the Amazon Appstore, if you installed it). So if one app store is reporting 83 apps, that's just the apps from that particular store.
