Verizon Galaxy S8 Recover Videos and Photos from S8Plus

I was screwing around with my phone and deleted my videos/photos from my S8 plus. I ran diskdigger on it and it got back a lot of photos. But the software says I need root access to get the videos back. Is there away around this? I really don't want to root my phone.

If the files were deleted from Internal Storage, then rooting is necessary. If they were deleted from the SD card, then it isn't. See this guide; http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...os/500142-guide-recovering-deleted-files.html
