unable to answer calls since Update two days ago 3/30/19

[Android Central Question]

An update was pushed out on my Samsung Galaxy 8 2 days ago. Since then I cannot answer calls. The screen behaves as if I am not pushing the answer button and eventually rolls into voice mail.

The touch screen responds for all other functions. I can make calls, pick up voice mail, perform all email and text functions.

Welcome to Android Central! I've seen a number of these questions in the forums, so it's possible that it's a bug with the update. Is the answer button you're referring to in a banner notification (i.e., when you get a call while using another app), or is it on the fullscreen incoming call screen (when the screen has been asleep and then you receive the call)?
