Since purchase, my S8+ (which shipped with Android 7.x) has updated itself to Android 8.x and Android 9.x.
Due to all the upgrading, it's not feeling as smooth as it could.
I am wanting to starting afresh but I presume 'factory reset' isn't as good as reflashing the firmware?
If this is true, how can I reinstall the software without tripping security software such as Knox?
I need to be able to access my banking apps etc., which don't work if the security has been detected as breached (such as rooting).
I live in the UK and the phone is factory-unlocked.
