Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

That's what I ordered above.

I've had my S7edge in a SUPCASE for 2 years and it's held up fine to drops and bumps.

Gonna give the clear one a run, this time.

What would be the best minimalist case?

I think that's subjective. Most people will respond with brand names. I think that's mostly relevant to their comfort level with the protection provided.

I personally could care less about any case brands since I barely use cases, but I'd just go with whatever case looks best to you. I posted the ones I thought were most aesthetically appealing, but I only arrived at that through tons of online searches.

Ordered an i-BLASON case from Amazon and received it a couple of days ago. It's a full coverage case and is very lightweight. It also has an intergrated screen protector and clear back. The sides offer a good grip. Since I won't have the phone until next week, I can't truly evaluate it. But it looks to be an excellent case. We'll have to see how its functionality suits the phone. I'll give my opinion once I get the phone.

Is anybody considering the Mous case? Looked through their website yesterday and the videos were rather impressive. And they include a 3-layered screen protector for all their cases. A bit on the expensive side, but not insane for the protection it offers. But they don't ship till May.

I'm considering this one. I wish they'd post videos of phones with the edge screen...the iPhone X doesn't have an edge display like Samsung, do they? The screen edges are my only concern. I'll probably buy a Spigen or Caseology case to use until then. Not sure about screen protectors, though...I'm not going to spend $50 on one.

Why do you like the Incipio DualPro more than Spigen? I've had a DualPro on my Droid Maxx since 2013 and the case is beat to hell but it's survived many drops over 5 years...but it's a bulky case. I think the Spigen cases look so much nicer (Neo Hybrid). Are the Spigens thinner? Less protection?

Yeah I guess you can say that and to me spigen seem like a loose glove and the Incipio cases are like snug fit I had a spigen case on my s8 last year and happen to go to Sam's Club and saw a incipio case and tried it out and fell in love lol
