Yes it will support an SD card, the slot is the same as the S8 line, part of the SIM tray.

Hopefully the tray is made from aluminum like the frame and not that crappy flimsy plastic again.

I switch between phones a lot by swapping sims. I have never had one break on me. Doesn't matter if they are plastic or metal....you don't need a lot of force to fit a sim into the slot then insert it back into the phone.

I do too. Still a flimsy tray. The phone is a grand. They can afford to give us aluminum instead of that thin plastic that breaks easily.
