GPS
I just recently took a weekend vacation to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. When attempting to navigate using Google Maps via AA, I am constantly plagued with "Searching for GPS Signal". I had finally decided to unplug from AA and just use the step-by-step navigation print-out when I realized that the Google Maps app hadn't lost it's GPS signal and took us to our location. Each time I had tried with AA, I lose the GPS signal and each time I had tried without AA, it never lost it's GPS signal. Any suggestions?
Update March 30th, 2018:
I resolved the GPS issue after ready several online forums. The first weekend that I had the phone, I went to Disney World and set the battery mode to Power Saving. Apparently, this has an effect of not keeping a consistent GPS connection which impaired the Google Maps app on AA.
Apps
Initially the apps brought over by SmartSwitch were invisible in the app drawer of AA, but a fresh re-installation resolved these issues. Now however, I am having one app that is constantly taking over the others. Let me explain. The app in question is BeyondPod v4.2.25. When I switch to Spotify or Google Play Music, it will automatically switch back to BeyondPod. The only way I can circumvent this, is by uninstalling BeyondPod (which loses my Audio Book position and settings). Highly annoying! Has anyone else ran into similar issues with apps constantly wanting to switch back?
Thanks in advance,
Daerik
