I have the s9 plus and my daughter has the s9, both have black crush/gradient banding issues. They are equally as bad/noticeable...I have started warranty exchanges on both...First, I contacted Samsung and they told me to take them to a Samsung authorized fix-it dealer. They told me they couldn't correct the issue after having our phones for 4 hours. They had Samsung replacement displays on hand but did not think it would help because they didn't think the display was the problem. They thought it was the logic board. With this being said I don't know how reliable or knowledgeable this person really is. I called Samsung back with this info and they asked me to send the phones in for repair which would mean to be w/out a phone for who knows how long. That's obviously a last resort so I did a warranty exchange thru my carrier. Either way, trying to work directly with Samsung on this issue was a big waste of time!
