Have both. The s9+ is my main phone. S9 is my backup. Love them both but the bigger screen and bigger battery and more memory in the S9+ is a bonus.

Plus. I always go for the bigger display but the most important benefit to me is the additional battery capacity.

I've got a 9. Very happy with it.

Plus is too big for me. Screen resolution isn't any better on the plus (same resolution, with a lower pixel density on the plus). Battery life is great for me (~1.5 days). Ram is a meh, could maybe be useful, but right now it doesn't seem to be an issue (runs about 1.3 GB free most of the time). Dual cameras doesn't seem like that big of a benefit for me, The 9's single is working very well on my phone.

s9 for me. came from a note 8, wanted something that wouldn't bulge out in my suit pockets yet had a large enough screen.. best of both worlds

I picked the S9 for the same exact reason. I am keeping my Note 8 in case I want to go back to a bigger screen. But right now I love the size of the smaller S9.

Got the 9. Wasn't willing to pay extra for stuff I won't use (extra camera), stuff that doesn't matter to me (battery. I'm always near a plug and so far the 9 has better battery life than my 7 Edge). The RAM to me is meh. On my S7 Edge I always had 800mb to 1.5GB free. The extra processor speed meant I don't NEED the extra RAM. And part of it is that this year is a down year for my income. Just got one coz I could get it without shelling extra cash from my contract renewal and look to pawn or sell my S7 Edge if it comes down to it. Lol. That weird moment when the best financial decision for you is to get a new phone is weird. Lol.

S9+. I usually like the larger screens and bigger batteries. However, I have an s7 and iPhone SE should I want to use something smaller.

I have the S9. I'm really happy with it. I checked out both in stores, but the S9+ just seemed too big for what I'm used to. I've been getting great battery on the S9 anyway so that really wasn't an issue. I don't think I use the camera enough to justify upgrading for that. I really only use it when I'm on trips. I'm not a big social media user or selfie taker, etc so it's not that important to me. Of course it still has a great camera when I need it, just slightly less features than the plus. The RAM is also not a big deal for me, since I don't think I do anything heavy duty with the phone. My main use is web browsing.

In years past, I have always avoided the plus variants due to the size and the price didn't justify the added cost. It took a while to get used to a 5.8 inch display but once I did, I can't go to a smaller form factor. Given the hardware differences, I am giving it some thought. More RAM, bigger battery and dual camera are definitely enticing. I am a little concerned about the size as I plan on using a Pursuit case and carrying it in my pocket.

4GB of RAM is still very good.. you'd only notice the difference if you were a heavy gamer

I went from s9+ to s9 due to the size and extra cost for features I don't need such as the extra camera and .4" screen increase. The s9 is perfectly capable with the battery and Ram it has. I mainly text, browse the web, and use social media on my phone. I do watch a bit of YouTube and other videos. But for $100+ less I'll take this

I got the S9 Plus. I have never had a plus-sized phone before, my last phone was the regular S6. I have long fingers and the S9 Plus just fits better in my hand. The screen ratio makes a huge difference, for example the Note 8 is just a scooch too wide to hold comfortably with one hand, whereas S9 plus is perfect. just slim enough. I have the edge apps panel activated, and makes it very simple slide out with one thumb, I have the apps that I use a lot on that panel. I two hand it most of the time when I use the phone but I have always done that

If I had the opportunity, I'd choose the regular S9. The Plus is too big for me!

I went with the + this time around for the dual camera. Glad I did. The phone isn't that much bigger than my S8 and I get that camera along with the larger battery. Still fits in my pocket, so I'm good.

I'm actually not interested in Samsung products (I respect Samsung and they make great products - they're just not for me) - I just meant, if I had to choose between the two.
