I want to change the default Bluetooth Codec from aptX to LDAC and change the related settings (I found
awesome Bluetooth IEMs that support LDAC and support 32-bit 96kHz - available on Amazon).
I've learned this is done in Developer Options:
https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-...odecs-0183398/ https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-...xy-s9-0183344/
I changed them to what I want -- LDAC, 32-bit, 96kHz. Actually, it seems if I just set the Codec to LDAC I can leave the other two set to “Use System Selection (Default)” and it uses 32-bit, 96kHz.
My problem is that I can't get the changes to stick. I set the Codec to LDAC and can play music that way (which is super sweet with these headphones, by the way!), but it reverts back to the aptX default whenever I restart the phone. It seems to make no difference whether I've left Developer Options turned On or have turned it Off.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
