    Anyone know what the "smart" means on this contact? It's only on one and not the others 🤔

    It probably means that the phone was able to find out that the phone number belongs to that company.

    It’s a scam/fraud detection system implemented by Samsung, powered by hiya.
    If you want to deactivate that feature, head to ‘Caller ID and spam protection’ in Call Settings, from your dialer app.

    I have no such settings on my S9+.

    Thank you TwitchyPuppy! The Spam activation was set to on. When I turned off the "caller ID / Spam protection" the "smart" went away along with the orthopaedics ID. I turned it back on, I kinda like that feature.

    The unlocked version has it. Certain carrier versions like Verizon and likely others won't due to the carrier deals with Samsung.

    Yea, I was going to add that I had an unlocked version. I guess I should have said that before... glad to have the feature, I'm sure it'll prove to be very useful 😊

    Yeah, carrier models don't have it built in so they can charge you for their version of it.
