    I have a s9+, and have figured out how to sort my regular contacts by last name. Pressing the three dots in the upper right>Settings>Sort by. However, Messages doesn't have this feature, and it just presents the contacts by their first name. I need them by their last name. Is there any way to change this, or is this just a problem I have to live with?

    I assume you're talking about the contact list that pops up when you start a new conversation. If so, then no, I don't think there's a way to change the order in which they're displayed. I just start typing names in the search box when I want to find someone quickly anyways.
