    I'm having an issue where the T-Mobile app keeps force closing in the background and I didn't even know it was running. It happens to me at least a couple of times a day - I'll get the dreaded error message "T-Mobile app has stopped" and I get the option of stopping the app or sending feedback.

    The problem is I can't uninstall the app (to reinstall it) and if I force close it myself, it will start right back up. I actually use the app to check my bill, so I don't necessarily want to get rid of it. I just want it to stop crashing in the background.

    Are you able to disable it? It usually runs in the background all the time.

    Nope. The disable button is greyed out.

    ETA: I turned off the background data usage setting, so hopefully that may help.

    T-mobile S9 here. T-mo app seems stable. Hasn't crashed.

    There's an update for it today in the play store. Hopefully that fixes things.
