    My Samsung s9+ isn't getting any service. It isn't the sim card as it works in other devices. The phone is recognising the sim card and I can use wifi calling/texting but I'm not getting any service with no wifi on. Tried factory resetting it as well as other things

    They haven't made any suggestions other than me leaving it in for testing/repair. Im more than likely going to do this but if there's anything I can do myself to fix it id rather just do that

    Ask for a new sim. I had a problem a long time ago where my phone wouldn't get 4G LTE any more. Replacing the sim fixed it.

    Already got a new SIM card and it didn't fix the issue

    You can - of you can diagnose the problem. "Doesn't work" isn't a diagnosis. You'll probably have to leace it with them.

    Back everything up first - they may wipe it before working on it. (See Backing up an Android Device if you don't know how.)
